Where's he actually from?

The Mattannur article states that Sreenivasan was born in Mattannur. But the Sreenivasan article mentions that he's from Thalassery. Where is he actually from?

I don't know about that but since he was born a couple of months before the birth of Kerala there is no point in stating he was born in the present day state of Kerala. I see this same case with many others born before 1956 and 1947.
