Is it really the first cupcake bakery?

I'm a bit sceptical. I've known bakeries sell these for decades before 2005. Maybe it could be the first exclusive cupcake bakery if the others made other cakes too. It just sounds like advertising puff. DavidFarmbrough (talk) 00:09, 6 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

There was/is a chain called “cupcakes” in Vancouver BC that started in 2002. They sold only cupcakes, and had a reality show made about them: Cupcake Girls.
