I think this confuses the early refinery, which was built to refine cane sugar from Hawaii, with the beet operation.Probably this should focus on the beet operation. Need another to talk about the cane business, or at least details in Spreckles own article. Requires further work of course. W Nowicki (talk) 02:52, 22 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
