- Or perhaps it should be providing an overview of sport in general, and avoid much discussion of specific sports, beyond links where they are mentioned.
- This might include, off the top of my head: the evolution of colonial sports and local traditional sports, and how they now form part of the whole; Government support, past and present; sporting bodies (The Jockey Club, SCAA, HK Cycling Association and the like); HK's involvement in the Olympics as Hong Kong, and now as 'Hong Kong, China'; how sport is taught - and which sports - in schools; which sports and events are most popular, for participation, live spectating, and TV spectating; and generally how sport fits into local culture.
