[edit]Hello! It was very interesting to read about the Southern armyworm and I thought the article was very informative. I went in and did a bit of rewording and grammatical edits in the lead paragraph, geographic range, host plant, glucosinolate, environmental impact, and life cycle sections. I would also suggest clarifying the sentence in the Insecticides section that said, “neem is a plant species that would not result in the same consequences as when using chemical insecticides” because I was confused on what you meant when reading it. Peer-Edit for Behavioral Ecology Class
[edit]I made several wording/phrasing edits throughout the article to help improve the format as well as flow of the entry. There are several sections of the article that might need another quick run through to check for needed citations. The ones I noticed in particular were “Geographic range,” "Damage,” “Neem-based insecticide,” “GMO Soybean Plant,” “Life Cycle,” “Egg,” “Larvae,” “Adults,” “Adult,” “Wasps,” “Stinkbugs,” and “Management.” I also edited the "Damage" heading to instead say "Environmental impact" in an effort to more clearly convey the material in that section. I think it might be worthwhile to define or explain the function of Bt proteins in the "Field corn" section as well as to investigate any survival/protective mechanisms used by this species to defend against the predation and insecticides at work. Finally, I added pictures of "Eggs" and "Caterpillars" that accompany the life stages described in this entry. Nice job overall! J.Prakash2344 (talk) 17:55, 28 October 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Hi, I made some small changes with grammar and sentence structure. I also added some hyperlinks. My biggest problems were that the section on glucosinolates was full of very technical language, which could use some more background or explanation. Also, in the predators section I would change the large section that is just a list of predators into a bulleted form, and I would like to see some citations for the stinkbugs. It was confusing that you said that it is undoubtable that they are predators but provided no source.
