From article: The free links used in Wikipedia also facilitate a spiral approach, since each new link taken offers more information about a subject in a non-intrusive manner that allows the reader to keep his or her attention on the main subject.

I believe this claim is original research and is not backed up in any other way. In fact, I would argue that free links are more similar to inverted pyramid style than spiral, where relevant information is presented first, and less relevant information cascaded in a separate content space. Separate content space in inverted pyramid style is text that is further down the same article, where as in free links is a different page. --Liulk 17:57, 30 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
