About Karen Gillan...
[edit]Should we mention that this is her first role in an animated movie?
38.29.232.150 (talk) 07:15, 11 July 2019 (UTC)
He's got a point. I don't know any other animated movie she's done. --XSMan2016 (talk) 07:20, 13 September 2019 (UTC)
- While sources may write about how this is Gillan's first voice role in an animated film, I don't think it is of particular relevance to the reader this information, if so we should also add that this is Tom Holland's first voice role as well. Also this is not being mentioned in promo materials or press releases, unlike films like Secret Life of Pets 2 that boasted about having Harrison Ford in its cast. -Gouleg (Talk • Contribs) 13:42, 13 September 2019 (UTC)
RfC notice
[edit]There is a request for comment whose outcome may affect this article: Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Film#RfC on distributor of post-merger Fox films. Nardog (talk) 16:31, 21 September 2019 (UTC)
Why did someone remove my edit of the mention of Audi's involvement in the film?
[edit]I added information in the Production section regarding the automaker Audi's involvement in the film, but someone removed it even though I cited my source. Eightsixofakina (talk) 16:02, 29 September 2019 (UTC)
20th Century Fox is not credited?!
[edit]How come? For years, it's distributed Blue Sky's previous 12 films, but not produce its 13th film? --XSMan2016 (talk) 02:15, 2 October 2019 (UTC)--
It produced the film but it's now distributed by disney Avinash101297 (talk) 05:42, 24 December 2019 (UTC)
- See Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject Film/Archive 74#RfC on distributor of post-merger Fox films which concluded
The general consensus here is to retain the credited distributor ("20th Century Fox" or "Fox Searchlight Pictures") and as such, to not unilaterally change names of credited subsidiary distributors to their parent, "Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures"

1)__Please change [Before Walter COULD try and change him back,] to [Before Walter can try and change him back,] because "could" doesn't match the verb-tense being used up to this point.
2)__Please change [STIRLING TRACKS down Kimura] to [Sterling and Walter track down Kimura] because saying "accompanied by Lovey, Walter's pet pigeon, and two other pigeons named Jeff and Crazy Eyes." implies that Stirling traveled with just the birds, & that Walter was left behind.
3)__Please change [down Kimura IN a resort in Mexico] to [down Kimura to a resort in Mexico] because "in" implies that they went to a resort, THEN discovered Kimura there. The use of the word "track" means that they followed a trail (or in this case, a signal) TO a location.
4)__Please change [Walter incapacitates him and learn of] to [Walter incapacitates him and they learn of] because adding the missing word repairs this bad grammar.
5)__Please change [before Marcy and the H.T.U.V COULD capture] to [before Marcy and the H.T.U.V can capture] because "could" is the wrong verb-tense.
6)__Please change [Revealing Walter's deceased mother, Wendy,] to [Revealing that she knows about Wendy, Walter's deceased mother,] because Marcy is NOT displaying Wendy's corpse, here!
7)__Please change [after a tense chase, MANAGE to retrieve it.] to [after a tense chase, manages to retrieve it.] because "manage" is the wrong verb-tense.
8)__Please truncate [perfect the antidote after Sterling lays an egg] to [perfect the antidote,] because (aside from "spoiling" a plot-point) this detail as-written makes no sense unless you're also willing to explain WHY Sterling's egg-laying helps Walter to perfect the formula.
9)__Please change [and deactivates HIS arm] to [and deactivates the villain's arm] because in such a lengthy sentence it should be made clear that Walter is not deactivating his OWN arm.
10)__Please change [could learn ALOT] to [could learn a lot] because "alot" is not a single word. 68.132.191.31 (talk) 01:07, 30 December 2019 (UTC)
- The Plot section has been updated, including these modifications Wikipedia does not care about spoilers, but Sterling's egg-laying ability gets removed anyway because it is an irrelevant detail to the plot -Gouleg (Talk • Contribs) 15:27, 30 December 2019 (UTC)
