I have created this section in order to avoid a potential edit war. I would like to point out, that, in my opinion, it makes no sense to redirect this perfectly good and valid stub-article to a more general article with a much less detailed description of this major upcoming film. If you disagree, and would like to turn this back into a redirect, Please post here first so that we can discuss it like civilized people. Thank You.

I don't think that there is enough info here to merit this article. Any info that is here is expanded upon in more detail within Spider-Man (film series)#Future, which is the best place for it. As it stands this should be redirected in line with the notability guideline for future films which states "Films that have not been confirmed by reliable sources to have commenced principal photography should not have their own articles". I am one of the main contributors to this "edit war". I think that this page should be there as the movie has been confirmed. The page may not have a lot of information, but it has enough for a page.
