Defective Gun

The portion of the article claiming the handgun requires multiple trigger pulls to fire appears to be totally made up, added in 2013. I have an article here: https://www.crimelibrary.org/notorious_murders/celebrity/claudine_longet/12.html

It says the gun was defective, but actually had a defective safety and too much oil- making an accidental discharge far more likely, the exact opposite of what the Wikipedia claims now.
