The various credible news agencies have doubted the Indian Air Force's claims of 'successfully destroying militant hideouts' in Balakot strikes, which used SPICE 2000 kit. However, this article claims that "strike targeted the militant terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed's ("JeM")[5] training center in Balakot." Do not use the backslash character ( \ ) in place of a slash.

This article uses the backslash character in several places where it should use a slash. Apparently I can't edit it but this should be fixed. These are a couple:

CCD\infrared homing with GPS\INS

The Wikipedia Manual of style says: Do not use the backslash character ( \ ) in place of a slash. And indeed one shouldn't.

Leaning oppose. Seems like RS are divided between all-caps and standard capitalization. I only looked at 4 references, but 3 of them used standard capitalization. The body of the article itself currently uses "Spice" (suspicious quotation marks included). Given absence of a clear WP:COMMONNAME, I feel like choosing standard capitalization is a reasonable fallback, along the lines of WP:TITLETM. Colin M (talk) 20:25, 19 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Also leaning oppose, since the abbreviation seems rather artificial. It is clearly intended to be pronounced as a word, not spelled out letter-by-letter. If the sources are mixed, it might be best to stick with "Spice". —BarrelProof (talk) 00:44, 20 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
- The article has previously been moved twice, and the current name seems inaccurate in describing what a "Spice" is. It is a bomb guidance conversion kit, not a bomb, so I suggest to consider a different name. The two previous names were Spice (munition) and Spice (guidance kit). I suggest considering Spice (bomb guidance kit) and Spice (bomb guidance device). The current name resulted from an undiscussed move of 8 April 2014 by The Bushranger, whose edit summary was "Simplified, consistent disambiguation". —BarrelProof (talk) 18:18, 20 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
