Magical beasts
[edit]"In the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy role-playing game Sphinxes are a type of monster, magical beasts related to manticores, that comes in four main subraces"
that sentence makes it sound like, in D&D, monsters are defined as magical beasts related to manticores. I don't know much about the DungeonsandDragonverse, is that what's going on, or what? Yesterdog 17:05, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, all magical beasts are related to manticores to some extent. However, the article should also note that sphinxes are more closely related to manticores than would be implied solely by their status as monsters. Factitious 17:06, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
