[edit]Rescently in ja wikipedia I have seen an edit, which says that Xaisomboun is resolved into Two. You guys hear any news of this? --Anan 09:33, 29 November 2005 (UTC)
- http://statoids.com/ula.html doesn't mention anything of a split of that province yet. Normally Gwillim Law would be amoung the firsts to list such information on the web. andy
- From what I can guess from that Japanese it says it is split into ホム郡 (Hom) and ロンサーン郡 (Longsan). With some google and the various spellings of Longsan I found two publications which explain it - [1] says "Since 2000, the districts of Longxan and Hom, previously in Xaysombou, have been incorporated into Vientiane Province". And one second hit [2] says they changed since 2001. Thus there is no new province, only the special zone has shrinked and I have to create new maps :-( andy 23:06, 21 December 2005 (UTC)
- Thank you andy ;-) --Anan 08:51, 22 December 2005 (UTC)
