[edit]Can someone change the name of the page? Because "Russian special operations forces" doesn't sound very encyclopedic or specific. 91.233.41.191 (talk) 10:23, 27 August 2016 (UTC)
Weapons and equipment sections are a complete mess.
[edit]Seems that someone doesn't understand the difference between Spetsnaz brigades and SSO. Also links to online shops do not verify anything. Looks like an attempt at advertising through Wikipedia.ViktorVolkov (talk) 02:46, 22 December 2017 (UTC)
Agreed. It says that they used, or are using, NATO weapons such as Glock's, Arctic Warfare's, and Heckler and Koch's. There are no citations and they make no sense. I served in the RGF in the Ukraine and I've seen none of these weapons in use. Suggesting either a deletion of these weapons or addition of citations that support/confirm their usage by the SSO. (first talk page edit, sorry if this is mess) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:8A:4300:C09E:C4F0:9EDF:54FC:DE10 (talk) 18:51, 7 February 2019 (UTC)
- These photos are complete mess - there are at least 6 different units - from the photos, you can clearly see their gear and outfit, witch, if you're really know, is not the same nor by RGF, DSR, FSB, Spetznaz (Alpha Group) and "Zenith", which is a Spetznaz Unit that is an Counter Terrorism, Inteleg3nce unit that operates under FSB, as a separate unit, and the most elite of all, MVS (МВС) unit for whom is little known about but those guys are literally the meanest muth....ers on the planet... Lets just say that a team of 4 MVS operators could eat Deltas, Seals, British SAS and few other units, for breakfast and still gonna be hungry...I've served my fair share in Chechnya in the '90s, and few "private" tours to Ukraine since 2014, and I've been around those guys - trust me, ther3 isn't better SpecOps unit on the planet...
