Lead and infobox

[edit]
  • Artwork requires alternative text.  Done
  • It's a big reach to put hip hop in the infobox as the song's genre when the only source that mentions it uses the phrase "a little bit of hip-hop".  Done
  • "song by American singer" → "song recorded by American singer"  Done
  • "speaking of ideas such" → "discussing topics such"  Done
  • Link feminism.  Done
  • "charted only in Russia and failed to enter any other major charts." → "charted on Russia's music chart at number 326, failing to impact any other countries main chart, managing only to peak on the lower ends of the US Dance Club and Pop Digital Songs charts." that may not be the perfect wording, but say something that mentions the other two charts.  Done

Background

[edit]
  • "to further promote any of her upcoming material" Ehhh this is a reach, especially since "Baby Don't Lie" didn't come out for another seven months after the performance.  Done
  • I'd add something about how "Baby Don't Lie" was released before this single, it reads as though this was her big comeback single after not releasing solo music since 2006, and given it's charting history, I'm sure you don't want people to think that...  Done

Composition and lyrics

[edit]
  • Link the first occurrence of feminism.  Done

Critical reception

[edit]
  • Add an 's' to Los Angeles Time.
  • Use the appropriate quote marks for "Hollaback Girl".  Done

Background and synopsis

[edit]
  • Per WP:NFCC point 8, "Non-free content is used only if its presence would significantly increase readers' understanding of the article topic, and its omission would be detrimental to that understanding." Given that, the image needs to be mentioned in a source or review. For example, if a critic commented that the cloud Stefani floats on is her dreams and aspirations, you could add that to the caption and source it. If such sources don't exist, the image should be removed as non-essential.  Done
  • "official Vevo YouTube account." which of the two? Her Vevo account? Her YouTube account? If you mean it was uploaded to a YouTube account named "ArtistVEVO", then simply YouTube account is fine.  Done

Reception

[edit]
  • Unlink Time.  Done

Track listing

[edit]
  • This section seems unnecessary and I encourage removing it. With no remixes, variations on tracks, EP's, it seems pointless.  Not done
    • I don't think it should be removed since this is the only way to purchase the track; that's how it appears on Baby Don't Lie
"Baby Don't Lie" was released in multiple different formats, whereas, as you said, there is only one version of the single that has been released. the guideline for song articles states "If the song is a single include track listings for the single's different formats." this has no formats, only format. @Azealia911: Oh yeah! You're right; I removed it. Carbrera (talk) 01:27, 31 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Charts

[edit]
  • Make the charts sortable.  Done

References

[edit]
  • #2 – Writer missing.  Done
  • #3 – Double quote marks, WP:NDASH violation.  Done
  • #4 – Date missing.  Done
  • That's what I found within the first five references when looking in great detail. So apply these comments when checking all references, make sure all writers are credited, all dates and accessdates are recorded, possibly archive links prone to link rot, make sure quote marks aren't at the start or end of references, remove NDASH violations.  Done
[edit]
  • Add a {{YouTube}} link to the official video (see this.  Done
