Names of the Soyuz modules?
[edit]The Soyuz (spacecraft) article uses the names "orbital module", "descent module" and "service module" to refer to the three components of the craft, as well as "payload fairing" for the outer covering that is jettisoned along with the escape tower.
This article uses "utility module", "lander module", "service module" and "payload shroud".
Can I suggest using the terms from the spacecraft article in this article as well? I think the terms themselves are clearer, and consistency between the two articles would be less confusing for the average reader. Thanks, NapoliRoma (talk) 22:20, 12 October 2018 (UTC)
- Some of the citations use other forms, but the OM, DM, and SM form is used in the 'Hall & Shayler' citation, so I think its fair to use that convention--Cincotta1 (talk) 23:14, 12 October 2018 (UTC)
