Talk:Soy Festival

Hello, I'm not very trained with deletion proposals (most of my started articles luckily have this issue:)). I can't find a discussion page, so I place it here assuming this is read. The current issue with this one is probably the language problem. I can't find very much English internet sources about the festival since it is happening in France. I'm not French as well, so the paper sources are also not available from my side unfortunatelly. Nominator Wessley Dodds is mainly expertised in American oriented Alternative rock, in which he is doing very good work of course, but this is outside the border from 'alternative' (alternative is artistic mainstream rock sold as underground music by major labels and not really alternative/avant garde/cult/underground imho). Only thing I can uphold is the long tradition of the festival and the list of notable (mainly avant garde) acts (see blue names of the acts). Avant garde related articles are always a bit difficult to maintain on Wikipedia. As the name itself expresses it is underground and not mainstream, so most people don't know about it. Also pay attention this takes place in Europe and not America, so outside the perception of what is big at that continent. In Nothern Europe Zita Swoon is for instance a big festival name, not very known in the US at all. To my opinion these kind of very progressive festivals (with longer annual tradtions) belong in this wikipedia, because of their artistic relevance. It's not Coachella or SXSW of course, but still very worth as a phenomenon for people interested in out of the box stuff.Could the conclusion for this nomination be done by a moderator skilled with avant garde music and avant rock?
