This is from Talk:June 1940 Soviet Ultimatum, which has been merged into this article.
Merging ?
I move to merge this article with the article Occupation of Bessarabia by the Soviet Union, since they describe the same events. Some background and other info from this article is not in that article, and could be easily added. The vague suggestion to merge was put forward by someone else (not me) on the other article's talk page. Another editor suggested to cross-reference the two, and he even did that. So, what does it seem more logical to you?:
- to merge this article into that one, and to add there all the info from here that is not present there (and then continue editting that article)
- to keep two articles, but then to say exactly what should go where, how do know a priori whether something belongs here or there
Cast your choice within, let's say, a month (is it too quick?). Thank you.:Dc76 20:00, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
- I second the merging of the two articles -- with this one absorbed into the larger one. I just did some edits on both, and noticed the quite subtantial overlap. While at it, more references are needed, and further tightening of the exposition (I gave it a shot, but much remains to be done). Finally, it would be good to have some photographs. Good idea to merge. `'mikka 01:23, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

- I meant this is a historic moment, me and mikka having for the first time the same opinion on something. :-P Lenin: so they didn't still bury him? :Dc76 14:02, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
- Yup, still there. Part of history, I guess... "Thirst is Nothing. Image is Everything. Get yourself dried up in a cool way." --Illythr 16:18, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
