Taking a look. —Ed!(talk) 17:20, 20 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

GA review (see here for criteria) (see here for this contributor's history of GA reviews)
  1. It is reasonably well written:
Pass Dab links, dup links and external links tools all showing no problems. Copyvio tool returns green.
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable:
Pass Offline sources accepted in good faith. A cursory search of Google Books shows other sources generally backing up material here.
  3. It is broad in its coverage:
    • "During these operations the destroyer discovered submarines four times" -- Any idea which subs?
  • Pretty sure that these were illusionary as I don't think that neither the Finns nor the Germans had subs in the Gulf of Finland at this time.
    • "On the return voyage she mistook the subchaser MO-112 for a Finnish torpedo boat and sank her." -- Another Soviet ship I assume, any survivors?
  • Unknown. Coverage of such small ships is hit or miss. And she's one of the latter.
    • Am I missing something here? "The destroyer's wheel of the soon jammed after a Gall chain broke the next day,"
  • Oops.
    • What was her mission in 42-43? Was she under drydock or was she garrisoned at Leningrad?
  • Pretty sure she wasn't drydocked except when damaged. I expect that she didn't have a lot of ammo with which to fire at the Germans who weren't pushing on the city anyways. Inactivity during this time is a common theme for all the ships in Leningrad that we've done so far.
    • Vyborg–Petrozavodsk Offensive -- What was her role here? What unit was she attached to and what was she targeting when her guns fired here?
  • Not covered in the sources.
    • (No Action Required) I'll note here too that I'd want to know what happened in the 4th Fleet, but as nom has indicated in another GAN, the specifics of this fleet and its operational activities can't be found.
  1. It follows the neutral point of view policy:
    Pass No problems there.
  2. It is stable:
    Pass No problems there.
  3. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate:
Pass Images tagged CC where appropriate.
  4. Other:
    On Hold Pending a few short comments. —Ed!(talk) 17:51, 20 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds good! Passing GAN now. —Ed!(talk) 04:27, 22 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
