STFU!!!!!!!!!!
Clever vandalism?
[edit]Anyone notice the repeated use of the acronym 'STFU' in the last three paragraphs? Their placement is formatted such that it appears at the beginning of each line (unfortunately, blockquoting would fail to perserve this):
STFU was one of few unions in the 1930s that was open to all races. Promoting not only nonviolent protest for their fair share of the AAA money, the STFU also promoted the idea that blacks and whites can work efficiently together. Because these ideas were highly controversial at the time, the STFU met with harsh resistance from the landowners and local public officials and STFU leaders were often harassed and ignored.

- This is a real union set up in the Great Depression, and that is the acronym for it. It is not vandalism...76.104.254.127 (talk) 06:19, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
- Yes indeed. I saw it in my 10th-grade history book. Granted, I loled when I saw it, but it's in there: Alan Brinkley's American History - A Survey. Lockesdonkey (talk) 23:36, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
It's real. In my AP US History book. Tyler John (talk) 02:25, 18 May 2010 (UTC)

Update sources
[edit]Although a range of sources are listed below the article, the ones cited are mostly from the late 1960s and early 1970s; I suggest that editors read and use additional, newer sources to provide content from additional sources about the union.Parkwells (talk) 02:23, 20 March 2017 (UTC)
