I made this page because I was researching third parties and I found reference to it (under the name Stats' Rights) in the official U.S. House of Representatives party divisions page. http://history.house.gov/Institution/Party-Divisions/Party-Divisions/
It's not as historically significant as a few other third parties from the same era, but it's way more significant than other parties which already have medium-sized articles.
Somebody like me who's trying to find stuff out about third parties in the future shouldn't have to dig as deep as I did to find info on these guys.
Combine and Separate Articles?
[edit]I came across this in the link from John M. Berrien. Is this the same thing as the "Constitutional Union" party that is definitely NOT the 1860 Constitutional Union Party (United States)?
Info about the 1851 - 1853 party calling itself Constitutional Union can be found at Georgia Platform, Robert Toombs, Alexander H. Stephens, etc.
So, I'm kind of a novice at Wikipedia editing, but I think the solution is to have a Constitutional Union disambiguation page? And an article specifically on the party that Toombs and Stephens were among the leaders of. If I understand correctly, that party had several of its members in state governments for a few years, even though it never did much nationally. 76.132.112.83 (talk) 19:31, 25 March 2023 (UTC)
