[edit]Surely this is back-to-front! The company called itself South Durham & Lancashire (etc. ), as the seal clearly shows, and this should be echoed in the title of this article. The redirect should be FROM 'Durham and Lancashire', not to it.

- The article naming convention here on Wikipedia, as noted at Wikipedia:WikiProject Trains/Style advice, is to use the word "and" in the title for articles about railway companies worldwide rather than an ampersand. This was discussed at WP:Trains over a decade ago and consensus was reached then. Slambo (Speak) 10:45, 18 June 2019 (UTC)
