Though an interesting and perhaps a necessary tactical development in South African student politics at the time, the idea of a racially separate organisation is in conflict with the aim of achieving a multi-racial society. Fortunately the leadership of NUSAS and SASO continued to have informal contact after the rift and were united in their resolve to remove the Apartheid regime from power. What South African Blacks Really Think about Steve Biko
[edit]I hope this tiny, insignificant article is not a reflection of the regard that South Africans have for Steve Biko.
