[edit]I have a question for someone who's worked in any Souplantation kitchen: do you prepare your soup fresh daily from scratch, or does it come in cans or "just add water" pre-packaged deals? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.149.14.217 (talk) 04:47, 3 December 2009 (UTC)
Prices went up at my local Sweet Tomatoes and perhaps all locations. Joe2832 (talk) 11:25, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
All-You-Can-Eat vs All-You-Should-Eat: Sweet Tomatoes is trying to differentiate itself from regular buffet restaurants by using (in their pamphlets and promos) the expression "all-you-SHOULD-eat" to indicate you can get all you want while sounding healthier than the stuffed to capacity connotation of "all-you-CAN-eat" restaurants. I feel the expression should stay as is to better reflect the philosophy of the restaurant. (Lostkiwi 03:54, 17 February 2006 (UTC))
I removed the part about the salad buffet section being one-time only. Every Sweet Tomatoes I have eaten at allowed you to go back in that section too as many times as desired. (Lostkiwi 01:54, 23 March 2006 (UTC))

Contested deletion
[edit]This is a notable chain with over 100 restaurants. Specific issues of promotion can be addressed and rewritten. Definitely not a speedy deletion. 72Dino (talk) 20:22, 10 March 2012 (UTC)
Competitors
[edit]Should there be some mention of their major rival in the late 80s and early 90s? In particular, "Soup Exchange" (founded in 1976) was their biggest rival. Both were based in San Diego, with Soup Exchange going into bankruptcy in 1991. — Preceding unsigned comment added by DrSlump (talk • contribs) 23:27, 4 March 2014 (UTC)
Souplantation, or Sweet Tomatoes?
[edit]Should this page be titled Souplantation or Sweet Tomatoes? The article name and infobox has been called "Souplantation" for some time, but the infobox and the page text was recently changed to "Sweet Tomatoes". Natg 19 (talk) 03:06, 10 May 2020 (UTC)
