The result of the move request was: no consensus to move. — Music1201 talk 00:24, 7 April 2016 (UTC)
– It seems rather WP:ASTONISH-ing that the concept of "sorrow" is not the primary topic. All other terms on the disambiguation page get their names based on/from the emotion. Steel1943 (talk) 20:38, 30 March 2016 (UTC)
- Sadly, I Support this very sad proposal. Common name, etc. Randy Kryn 00:20, 31 March 2016 (UTC)
- Comment shouldn't sorrows also redirect to the emotion? -- 70.51.46.39 (talk) 02:35, 31 March 2016 (UTC)
- Support, per long-term significance. All other topics named "sorrow" are derived from the emotion. SSTflyer 07:15, 31 March 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose. This should stay a disambiguation page. Looking at recent pageviews, the emotion article is #5 on the list, and well behind some of the others. No topic has more than the others combined. It's better for our readers to send them to a dab page rather than an article that only 8% of them are interested in. Dohn joe (talk) 14:22, 31 March 2016 (UTC)
- Support due to long-term significance. Egsan Bacon (talk) 18:32, 31 March 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose as no coherent reason for a primarytopic grab has been presented. Dicklyon (talk) 05:47, 1 April 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose. Dohn joe is 100% right. Nohomersryan (talk) 14:52, 1 April 2016 (UTC)
- Support. The emotion is the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC due to the long-term significance. (by the way, Dohn joe's analysis is skewed towards recent events. Sorrow (The McCoys song) was covered by David Bowie and got a lot of recognition soon after his death. Before Bowie's death, the emotion was the top result in that same analysis) -- Tavix (talk) 17:38, 1 April 2016 (UTC)
- Even if you go back to last summer, the emotion page got no more than 16% of the pageviews - that's still 84% going to a different article. Dohn joe (talk) 17:44, 1 April 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose, because although the emotion is the basis for everything else, that doesn't mean it's a clear primary topic. The whole set of articles around this spread the page views around quite thinly. —Torchiest talkedits 16:29, 2 April 2016 (UTC)
