Sophia Smith → Sophia Smith (Smith College) – no clear WP:PRIMARYTOPIC per page views [1] Joeykai (talk) 21:40, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
- Strong support the 2000 soccer play has more (3,225) than this one (435), also Sophia Smith Collection has 1,442, move Sophia Smith (disambiguation) to the base name. Crouch, Swale (talk) 10:21, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
- Strong support per nom (and per above). No primary topic for this name, and if there is, it's not this one. Move disambiguation page (Sophia Smith (disambiguation)) to basename. Paintspot Infez (talk) 04:33, 2 February 2021 (UTC)
- Support per nomination; Crouch, Swale and Paintspot Infez, as well as the move Sophia Smith (disambiguation) → Sophia Smith. If consensus were to skew towards the longer form, Sophia Smith (Smith College founder), I would also support such a revision. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 03:31, 3 February 2021 (UTC)

Name pronunciation
[edit]Folks at Smith College (and possibly Northampton or in academia overall) know that her name is pronounced /səˈfaɪ.ə/ with a long I sound. I'd like to add this information, but would want to find some good source that indicates this. Does anyone have a lead?—Jchthys 14:19, 25 September 2023 (UTC)
