Straight A in Abitur
[edit]According to the German Wikipedia, she had an 1.6, which is definitely not what I would understand as an straight A (straight A (4.00) = 1.0). Usually a 1.6 is something along the lines of a 2+ (or 2++ if you want to) or when you want to be nice a 1-. Putting it in US numbers I would guess it is more equivalent to 3.50.
Reasoning behind this. Before the 11th grade there are only full grades (1,2,3,4,6 - 5 is practically non existent, since lower than 4 equals failed). So when the teachers calculate the grade for the last year they may use a mean value or a weighted mean value as an orientation. Everything below .5 usually is the lower grade. So 1.6 would be a 2 as your grade for the class that year.
So translate it as an A but not as an straight A.

Husband
[edit]I copied the name "Samy Singer" from the german wikipedia article. Hopefully it is correct there, if not, fault the german wikipedia entry. 2A02:8388:1600:A880:BE5F:F4FF:FECD:7CB2 (talk) 12:25, 12 December 2015 (UTC)
- I removed it, explain that while it may have been supported by an imdb reference, it no longer is and imdb does not qualify as a reliable source. There are additional reasons ticket:2018021410012263, so ping me if anyone is considering re-adding it.--S Philbrick(Talk) 22:11, 14 February 2018 (UTC)
