I'll check this over soon. JAGUAR 19:24, 27 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • "His focus is to unity among separated Christians" - missing word here. promote unity perhaps?
taken --GA
  • "He was impressed by the pietist movement and converted in 1714" - converted to what?
Converted from Catholic (mentioned before) to Protestant, - well, pietism is widely known as a Protestant movement. How would word it, not boring readers who know that? --GA
  • "and also faith, hope and ardent love, the theological virtues." - a semicolon or hyphen would be better suited here
I thought semicolon is only for full sentences, no? Learning. Trying the other way round. --GA
  • "The alternative "ecumenical" final stanza (7a) is focused on unity, compared to the unity of Jesus and God" - compared to what originally? Is this referring to unity among Germans?
In the song, it's open and general. "Lass uns eins sein" simply means "Let us be one", followed by "wie du mit dem Vater bist" (as You are with the Father). When sung in the peace prayers, the unity between Germans in East and West was often meant.

@Gerda Arendt: good work with this one! Just some minor nitpicking here. Once they're all clarified I'll promote this. JAGUAR 19:48, 28 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I tried, just would need help for one wording. Thank you. - Did you know that I ran a peer review for another cantata, but there was so much conflict that I never made the GA nom. Would you dare something complex, by several authors with different ideas? Ein feste Burg. --GA
If you nominate that article I'll be happy to review it. Regarding this review, I'm fine with keeping the "pietism" wording; I was already aware of this term and can understand what it's trying to convey. As for the rest, I think this article is in excellent shape overall and definitely worthy of the GA icon, so I'll be promoting. Well done! JAGUAR 22:46, 28 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
