Permanent move

I'd just like to state that there will be no permananent loan deal taking place even if Sone is succesfull at Aberdeen. I edited the last paragraph as in my veiw it was irrelevant. Unless your David Beckham or Roy Keane nobody cares about were you went to school. In my veiw it was someone looking for publicity for that school. Sone is a good footballer but still needs to develop as a player his stint at Aberdeen will do him the world of good. 83.104.51.181 13:15, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

First European goal

Our anonymous contributor failed to mention the significance of the goal against Bayern, which was a huge achievement for a player of limited experience, but this was probably the reason why the equally anonymous user removed this attempt. I established its validity as his first European goal, a notable achievement, particularly for a player under contract at Birmingham City... What a silly amount of vandalism from the user on 90.194.7.201. I don't know how you regular Wikipedia editors live with such nonsense all the time. Still, I've eliminated it for now. Ian 20:31, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

Aluko AWOL

Just thought I'd ask to see if my source was reliable on the edit I made about McGhee being annoyed at Sone for going to the U-20 World Cup with Nigeria Nicolizzio 11:20, 19 September 2009 (UTC)

Reject of Transfer (Rangers)

Mention of uncle

His uncle is no longer a professor and is apparently Commissioner [for] Infrastructure & Public Utilities in Ekiti state, Nigeria. Especially given the absence of any mention of his mother, the uncle's mention is puffery. Nicmart (talk) 16:52, 11 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
