The English article says that the line about Honecker being a closet rocker was added in 1987. I believe this is a mistranslation of the German Wikipedia page. The line has always been in the song as far as I know (the music video / tv show is supposed to be from 1983, and the line is there). The German page says that this line was made reality in 1987 when Udo sent Honecker a real leather jacket and got a thank you note in reply. It does not say that the line was added to the song in 1987 - or am I reading the original article wrong? Eti erik (talk) 01:02, 23 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
