Erasure
Several years ago more detailed son huasteco and huapango articlea were available. They included groups that had recordings, citations and a history that included more details about the region. FIrst, the article was erased and focused on huapango in mariachi, which was derived from son huasteco, then it was erased further and the details are so global as to be useless to anyone wanting to listen to the genre, or go to music festivals. I guess I am wondering where those old versions went and why generalities are desirable?
Capitalizing «huasteco»
I believe huasteco shouldn't be capitalized and a redirect to Son huasteco is in order. The situation in Son Jarocho is analogous.
--Instrument Info-- The Huapangera has 8 strings, not five (it has five courses: 1-2-2-2-1). —Preceding unsigned comment added by Josecho (talk • contribs) 13:11, 22 April 2010 (UTC)
The huapanguera does have 5 courses, 8 strings, but many times some strings are doubled so it can have 8 strings. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.169.220.110 (talk) 04:57, 14 February 2012 (UTC)
