I'm not good with SVG files - the best I can achieve is recolouring items. The sourced electoral order specifies the boundaries of the new wards - multi-member divisions that exactly match the corresponding wards on Somerset County Council. Could someone who is better with SVGs assemble a ward boundaries map with appropriate scaling and colouration? I have a crude map here. Likewise, a better drawn map of the district without that dividing line between the two abolished councils could be uploaded over my first attempt.
I've also taken the view that WP:CALC applies to just adding up stats from the two abolished district councils for use here. Populating the infobox and the article with other similar stats might be worthwhile. Obviously WP:CALC only applies to uncontrovertial arithmetic, so please let me know if you think the addition of stats from both pages constitutes original research (I think it's a pretty clear-cut WP:CALC exception).
