Taypale or Taipale as a title?

[edit]

Hi! I've got a question about the title of this article: Why is it Taypale instead of Taipale? If you check it in Google, you'll see what the second way of writting occurs many many more times than the Taypale one. But I know, the redirection already exists... Naming of Russian geo-locations is per Russian romanization guidelines. Taipale is a redirect to cover the contingency you described.—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); 12:21, 2 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
FYI, Russian maps call it Solovyovo after WWII. So there is nothing to romanize. Colchicum 20:28, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you! That explains why I was having helluva time trying to find it. I'll move the article to the proper location. Could you let me know who published the map you looked at and when? That'll come in handy for reference purposes. Again, thanks!—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); 15:12, 26 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
