[edit]Solomon Eccles lived before standardized spelling. Eccles and Eagles were the same name, alternate spellings. I added one citation for this in the page, but there's also "A Biographical Dictionary of Actors, Actresses, Musicians, Dancers, Managers and Other Stage Personnel in London, 1660-1800, Volume 5" to corroborate this. The Biographical Dictionary of Old English Music (cited for the name and instrument burning in the article) also discusses the event where he went naked with a pan of burning coals on his head.
