Virginia 2020

[edit]

Virginia law changed two days ago. "House Bill 909 and Senate Bill 513 end the practice of suspending driver’s licenses for non-driving related offenses, including drug offenses and theft of motor fuel." [1]Bri (talk) 21:33, 13 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Good eye Bri! Virginia did pass opt-out legislation in 2017 but it only pertained to cannabis. The new legislation you have pointed out covers all drug offenses. I was actually reading an article about the situation in Virginia earlier today but slightly misunderstood it and ended up overlooking the new bill. Will update the article shortly.--Jamesy0627144 (talk) 23:13, 13 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
