Way way way too promotional
[edit]I'll take a crack at a serious reduction/revision if no one else wants to.--Modern.Jewelry.Historian (talk) 03:03, 18 November 2012 (UTC)
- would love to assist you with it Eartha78 (talk) 13:37, 18 November 2012 (UTC)
Looks like you are off to the races - thanks! Let me know when you have something to look at, and I meanwhile I will look for real references.--Modern.Jewelry.Historian (talk) 20:42, 18 November 2012 (UTC)
References To Consider
[edit]Content is too promotional, but Telegraph establishes independent notability.
Very good source of info — Preceding unsigned comment added by Modern.Jewelry.Historian (talk • contribs) 21:03, 18 November 2012 (UTC)
- Also these links can be used to back up the V&A reference AND link to pictures of her work at the same time.
Photo, Collections and Name Dropping
[edit]Per the standards set by editors of other designers, unless a particular, perhaps single piece has become famous (and most published editorials include it) - I do not believe that it is appropriate to put photos of her jewelry pieces. (I know the lip ring is tempting, others, no way) Also, it seems to be generally unacceptable to use WP as a catalog, with descriptions of individual collections. Even someone at her level seems to get only one photo, generally her portrait. Finally, the use of celebrity name dropping is a fast ticket to criticism. In the case of Stephen Webster, one celeb is so frequently mentioned as instrumental, she gets in. Other articles mention so many celebs, but I expect they will get edited down (if not punished more heavily by admins) soon.--Modern.Jewelry.Historian (talk) 21:13, 18 November 2012 (UTC)
