[edit]http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/j.1477-8696.2001.tb06577.x/pdf maybe this can be added here or in the non-existent soil temp article? or even the temp records article — Preceding unsigned comment added by 141.244.83.168 (talk) 13:27, 2 June 2016 (UTC)
Typical Values of soil statistics for UK, American States, and perhaps the rest of the World
[edit]From what I can gather, the methods of measuring, say, Soil Thermal Conductivity are provided, BUT, for someone trying to do a back of the envelope calculation, say, the actual values of these Statistics for the UK & US do not seem to be provided. Could someone make a table of typical values? ASavantDude (talk) 23:19, 18 September 2016 (UTC)
How about adding some real values?
[edit]Heat conductivity = 0.36 to 1.6W/m*K, depending on the water saturation of the soil. https://thermtest.com/applications/soil-thermal-conductivity-tls
