Inline questions from article

[edit]

The following questions were added into the article:

hanja: )
What is the source for these hanja?
So (hanja: ) in sohaeheum means "four,"
四 is "sa" in Korean, not "so." What is the source for this hanja/pronunciation? The online Korean dictionary gives "小" as the first character.

As a side note... User:Badagnani you seem to have been the person to both add the material, and then later add the questions about the material. Are you talking to yourself, or what? ;-) If you don't have a source for the material, and yourself question the validity of it, then why add it in the first place? --Maelwys (talk) 18:17, 19 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I did not add the reference to the 四 character; I am questioning it as the online Korean etymology dictionary gives 小. Badagnani (talk) 18:20, 19 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, my apologies I misread the diffs. I noticed that you'd added several of the hanja and done all the linking, so I didn't notice that somewhere in there that one symbol was already present and you just expanded on it. Nonetheless, the questions should go here instead of being inline. Hopefully the person that started the article can answer them here, or if they don't soon you'll have to remove them and update with whatever information we do have sources for, if not that. --Maelwys (talk) 18:32, 19 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sohaegum in hagul: 소해금 ("소" = "So", but "사" = "Sa"!)

Wish List

[edit]

By way of a wish list, it would be nice to be able to hear someone plunking on one of these things. 155.213.224.59 (talk) 15:14, 10 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
