Should the Google Pinyin IME controversy be included on this page? (Usws (talk) 17:20, 21 September 2008 (UTC))
I guess a short section about it is appropriate. Other than that, the information so far appears quite one-sided. Almost like an advertisement. A more neutral description is better I think. (NimoTh (talk) 13:11, 6 October 2008 (UTC))
questionable notability?
[edit]absolutely not. china=largest population in the world --> this is some of the most-used software in china --> lots of fucking people use this software --> its notable.
Therefore, I'm removing the notability template. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 221.218.169.144 (talk • contribs)
Despite the profanity, I agree with him. This is definitely a notable topic. It is one of the most used Chinese typing systems. Get rid of the notability template. Heisenbergthechemist (talk) 14:55, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
Its used in schools in the UK that teach Chinese. Just adding for perspective. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.244.251.9 (talk) 14:00, 19 September 2012 (UTC)
How to change the control + space shortcut
[edit]I have sogou pinyin installed and whenever I press control + space it switches to Sougou Pinyin, and if I change the shortcut in windows language settings it mysteriously changes back to control space straight away. Does anyone know the interface of this program and can tell me which buttons/menus I go to in the program to change the shortcut from control+space to basically anything else? Also the control + space shortcut stays even if you un-install the program.
Much appreciated --Volumebass112 (talk) 04:34, 24 June 2010 (UTC)
