Page move

- Oppose page move to Soft Light. Insufficient disambiguation between the existing Soft light (lower-case "l") and this article, if renamed. Soft Light should remain as it is at present - a redirect to the most common use of the term, Soft light. --Ckatzchatspy 07:12, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose I think people would expect the soft light article and not an episode article. 70.51.9.86 05:07, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose per my anon brother. When I think of soft light, I think of the photography term. It is clearly ambiguous. 205.157.110.11 22:10, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

- Infobox
- Match with other X-Files article by linking season 2, then removed the other lists at the very bottom of the infobox
- Lede
- Episode can't really "premiered" how about "originally aired"
- The episode received mostly positive reviews from television critics. → The episode generally received positive reviews from television critics.
- "like". Isn't really a word you want here. How about "such as"
- Plot
- Nothing; Huh 0)
- Production
- "huge" is not needed; same for "even" kind of WP:NPOV
- Who was it directing by ;( James A. Contner is very sad right now. Lol
- Broadcast and reception
- "Soft Light" was first broadcast in the United States on May 5, 1995, on the Fox Broadcasting Company → "Soft Light" originally aired on the Fox network on May 5, 1995.
- UK airing, perhaps?
- References
- Ref. 6: "Sci-Fi Blast From The Past - Tony Shalhoub (The X-Files)" The - should be an en dash as per WP:DASH.
- Ref. 6: How is that a good source
- Firstly, it's a primary source-based interview, so its notable. Secondly, the author is a regular contributor to Andrew Morton's website/newspaper, The Morton Report, so he isn't just a random crackpot Link--Gen. Quon (Talk) 20:58, 30 July 2012 (UTC)
- "Fox Broadcasting Company", not "corporation"
- Ref. 9: Doubled periods with Time, Inc., which should be Time, Inc
- External links
- on TheXFiles.com should use "at"
- "The X-Files Wiki, an external wiki". Repetitive. How about: "The X-Files, an external wiki"
On hold. Good work. TBrandley 17:25, 30 July 2012 (UTC)
- There, I believe I've gotten everything. Thank you for the review.--Gen. Quon (Talk) 21:59, 30 July 2012 (UTC)
- Will pass the artcle. Congrats! TBrandley 23:14, 30 July 2012 (UTC)
Irrelevant critique
[edit]The last segment of the critique section references a page that is no longer being maintained. Additional research being necessary to assess the significance of this critic, which doesn't seem readily available as the critic is not noteworthy themselves, seems to suggest this is a trivial segment and should be removed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2603:8001:5602:B943:1C2F:21BC:4AD:6F32 (talk) 10:41, 31 March 2022 (UTC)
