[edit]This page has been established as a basic and concise introduction to what a sociological perspective is, and as a springboard to other pages within the sociology project. As such a vague term, I do not think it should start discussing historical, methodological or theoretical issues in any great detail, but rather pointing all readers and editors to the appropriate pages. An issue exists in the fact there are so many similar indexy type pages (List of basic sociology topics, Outline of sociology, Index of sociology articles, subfields of sociology, category: sociology). I'd recommend anybody to try and merge some, particularly those that aren't autocreated and are out of date. --Tomsega (talk) 14:25, 7 November 2009 (UTC)
