The page at present describes the ZBoWiD at its inception as having been formed of 11 pre-existing veterans' associations. I read that as meaning the ZBoWiD was an umbrella or federation of organizations, each presumably with its own membership requirements. What's unclear is whether at that time, or in its transformations during later decades, did Polish WWII veterans join the ZBoWiD directly? -- Deborahjay (talk) 12:16, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
