The author(s) need to be more careful about their "facts", not to mention motives.

I'll limit myself to pointing out the need for two corrections:

Firstly, the Charlie Charalambous who writes for the Cyprus Weekly is not the same person as the Charlie Charalambous who was in the SLG, etc. Any basic search on the net will establish that the journalist in question has been writing for the Cyprus Weekly long before the ex-SLG member moved to Cyprus. FYI, the surname Charalambous is about as common in the Greek-speaking world as Williams is in the English-speaking world. Put this fact in the context of significant Cypriot emigration to/from Britain, and you have plenty of Charlie Charalambouses to sift through before making sweeping statements.

Secondly, the author(s) write "after the ousting of Charalambous", blah, blah. This is a complete fiction. The word "ousting" has a very specific meaning, implying a political fight ending in a conscious act. No such fight or act occurred, as anyone around at the time can confirm. The ex-SLG member simply moved to Cyprus from the UK for personal reasons. He did not break with the FI, and is still a member - which is more than can be said for Stefan Cholweka, to choose one name among the many mentioned.
