Following up on Talk:Socialist Autonomous Province of Kosovo#merge:
The articles on Vojvodina in the former Yugoslavia are split into:
- Autonomous Province of Vojvodina (1945–1963)
- this article 1963-1990
- Autonomous Province of Vojvodina which redirects to the main article, for the period 1990-1992, and the distinction is explicated at the separate disambiguation page AP Vojvodina
In 1963 a rename and a constitutional change happened. Something similar happened in 1989. But, major changes also happened in 1974, and in this case that's unaccounted for. We did not apply the same logic to the Yugoslav republic articles, and in the case of the other province, Kosovo, the split was done in 1974. Is there an actual reason for this to be so? If not, shouldn't we merge the history articles? Vojvodina in SFR Yugoslavia seems like a plausible descriptive name. --Joy [shallot] (talk) 08:02, 26 April 2013 (UTC)
