One thing that needs clarification - and I couldn't find the answer while stubbying this article - is whether the social interface theory as developed by Long and others is limited to software-based computer-to-human interactions, or did Long design his theory to explain interactions that have nothing to do with computer (or maybe even technology at all). In other words, is the (computer/software) social interface design (ex. of Microsoft Paperclip) a prime example of a practical use of social interface theory, or only one of many possible applications of a more general theory? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 17:12, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
