Difference between a soap film and a soap bubble
[edit]What is the difference between "soap film" and "soap bubble"? If there is no difference, wouldn't it be better to merge this article with soap bubble? --Acepectif 14:29, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
- I guess the difference is that a soap bubble is in fact a bubble, while a soap film can be in virtually any shape. —Kri (talk) 20:41, 1 September 2012 (UTC)
Yes, and no. A soap film can be lots of shapes other than a closed bubble; but, it cannot be virtually any shape. It must always tend to settle to a minimal, tensile surface. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.223.130.60 (talk) 04:50, 7 January 2014 (UTC)
What is it for?
[edit]Could someone, please, edit it explaining what is Soap film for? Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Fabiotheoto (talk • contribs) 17:19, 24 June 2019 (UTC)
