This song is widely-known for the trumpet work by Hugh Masekela. I'm surprised this is not mentioned in the article. Not long after this song was a hit, the Byrds and Masekela performed (separately) at Monterey, June '67. That gig was notable also for the fact that David Crosby, soon to leave the Byrds, appeared onstage with them only reluctantly, and performed much more enthusiastically at the same venue with Jefferson Airplane.Maccb (talk) 01:36, 8 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
