Parked text
[edit]This text was included under the category "Sikh influence" but has no reference (it is a legend?) so I've removed it until/if someone can provide proper context: "When the emperor of India came to seek the advice of the third Guru, Guru Amar Das, he was asked to eat the langar, and was given a place to sit that happened to be next to a beggar who was also partaking of the community meal. The emperor was actually inspired by the experience." Octopet (talk) 11:41, 23 October 2011 (UTC)
Sections needing work or removal
[edit]The sections about Snatam's music, Kundalini Yoga, and her peace tours read like they've been copied from a promotional website and are inappropriate for wikipedia. Anyone who has time and inclination may want to edit these sections. Or perhaps these sections should be removed? Octopet (talk) 12:01, 23 October 2011 (UTC)
- I've been away from wiki for over a year and just getting back to this. I see no one has made any comments or edits so I am going ahead with removing promotional text to make the article meet wiki's NPOV guidelines.Octopet (talk) 20:18, 13 August 2012 (UTC)
- Since you've done that, Octopet, can the NPOV dispute tag be removed now? Transitive Sam (talk) 18:46, 2 April 2015 (UTC)

[edit]I'm gradually working on making this article more neutral, less "promotional". If anyone has references to add, please do so.Octopet (talk) 20:30, 16 November 2011 (UTC)
