Religion

[edit]

In infobox, religion of Smriti Irani is stated as Hinduism but it needs reference as it is not clear which religion she follows. She is born in Hindu family but she is married to Zoroastrian/Parsi Zubin Irani. Can anyone provide reference to clear it? Her religion has been changed to Zoroastrianism, again without reference. A reference is critical here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 14.139.128.13 (talk) 23:54, 20 November 2014‎

I have removed the assertion from the infobox as no source is given. -- dsprc [talk] 06:59, 21 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

broken navbox

[edit]

Down in the external links section there is a mangled navbox that seems to be caused by nesting. I tried a couple of variations but that didn't produce desired results; maybe someone else can take a stab at fixing them. -- dsprc [talk] 23:34, 15 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Controversies

[edit]

Why is there no mention or a heading of controversies she's waded into or has been part of?

They are integrated into the section about her Political Career. Givemeplease (talk) 06:42, 5 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

"Controversies"

Marked "controversies" section as NPOV. There are some libelous statements there.Rabbabodrool (talk) 18:30, 31 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Controversies in BLP

[edit]

How can controversies be added in someone's BLP?

I agree that any Controversy mentioned must be reliably sourced and provide balanced view, else it can be removed from Wiki pageRogerYg (talk) 04:35, 3 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  1. Such material requires a high degree of sensitivity, and must adhere strictly to all applicable laws in the United States, to this policy, and to Wikipedia's three core content policies: Neutral point of view (NPOV), Verifiability (V), No original research (NOR). Contentious material about living persons (or, in some cases, recently deceased) that is unsourced or poorly sourced—whether the material is negative, positive, neutral, or just questionable—must be removed immediately and without waiting for discussion.

@BlackOrchidd: That is a essay, not policy or guideline. I reverted your edit so that you start a discussion here and use that essay as a non-arbitrary support or something like that. Explain your edits to other editors and how that essay should be used here, so we can discuss. Don't tag me unnecessarily. ExclusiveEditor Notify Me! 10:17, 13 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Relevance of MP From Amethi Section and NPOV

[edit]

The "MP From Amethi" section has been marked as NPOV but there doesn't seem to have been any discussion regarding it here. What I want to talk about is relevance of that article in the first place. Doesn't seem to provide any information not already included in the article elsewhere and looks like puffery to me. I nominate this section for deletion and welcome all constructive comments.
