Apparently, the editor who nominated this article for deletion has never seen smoked glass plates being used (which is quite possible if he or she doesn't have in interest in old scientific instruments); or never seen 'smoked' glass used in coffee tables or as optical filters. Ignorance is not a crime, but assuming you are right simply because you are ignorant is a little peremptory. Oitar (talk) 12:29, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
What's wrong with it?
[edit]I can't see anything wrong with it - unless the info is already somewhere else and easily obtainable there. I've used smoked glass (the old smoky type) myself. Peridon (talk) 12:40, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
