I have changed 'epaulette' in one or two places on this page to 'rank tab', since this is more correct when describing the small flap for the bearing of rank slides attached to front and/or back of the smock. An epaulette is etymologically a French word meaning "little shoulder" (from épaule, meaning "shoulder").--Dom Damian 13:45, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
Merge with Windproof smock?
[edit]I am no expert, but it seems to me that the Smock Windproof DPM is a kind of windproof smock. Maybe it could have its own section on the Windproof smock page? — Preceding unsigned comment added by KTReynolds (talk • contribs) 21:09, 23 July 2013 (UTC)
